We provide their clients an on-demand marketplace where they can discover and directly book local service professionals safely, and easily without middle-men.

The Team

Joshua Danielson – Co-founder and CEO

As an early adopter of the “sharing” economy (an Airbnb host since 2010, an owner on car-sharing platforms, and user of many others), Joshua understands both the inner workings of and the power these platforms possess to create economic empowerment for their users. His professional background includes pricing and revenue management, analytics, product strategy and management, contract negotiations, and voice of the customer programs primarily in the travel industry. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Iago Lorenzo – Co-founder and CTO

Iago has been a freelance web developer since 2012 after working six years in various IT and software engineering positions in the corporate world. He has brought Loconomics to life helping build the original desktop version and creating the mobile app from scratch. He’s based in Vigo, Spain.

Janelle Orsi – Board Member

Janelle is a lawyer, advocate, writer, and cartoonist focused on cooperatives, the sharing economy, urban agriculture, shared housing, local currencies, and community-supported enterprises. She is Co-founder and Executive Director of the Sustainable Economies Law Center (SELC), which facilitates the growth of more sustainable and localized economies through education, research, and advocacy. Janelle has also worked in private law practice at the Law Office of Janelle Orsi, focusing on sharing economy law since 2008. Janelle is the author of Practicing Law in the Sharing Economy: Helping People Build Cooperatives, Social Enterprise, and Local Sustainable Economies (ABA Books 2012), and co-author of The Sharing Solution: How to Save Money, Simplify Your Life & Build Community (Nolo Press 2009), a practical and legal guide to cooperating and sharing resources of all kinds.

Christopher Tellez – Board Member

Christopher is the owner of SF REIKI CENTER. He has been practicing Reiki since 2010 and studying under Brian Brunius of NYC REIKI CENTER. He is currently a Reiki Master Candidate following the standards of Hawayo Takata and the discipline of Usui Shiki Ryoho with Brian Brunius and will become Reiki Master in 2016. He has worked in the social work profession for over a decade and holds a masters degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. Christopher had been featured in Dot429 and Seven Ponds magazine. Christopher also volunteers with Shanti’s Breast Cancer Program and has been funded by the The U'ilani Fund to give Reiki to Breast Cancer survivors.
